For the last 22 years, im5 have worked directly with both clients and production companies around the world to deliver meetings, conferences, clinical trial training, medical advisory boards, exhibitions, sports events, gala dinners, and more, for audiences from 5 persons to 5,000, in Japan, around Asia and the rest of the world.

im5 had its origins in the global pharmaceutical industry, where, as a Product Manager, Richard Bray was responsible for the total management of a number of medicines, from clinical trials and registration through to product training, publications and marketing. Later, as a Director of Marketing Services, Richard was responsible for the organisation of meetings and conferences in Japan and around the world.

Utilising one of the earliest audience response systems, he produced numerous educational, marketing, training and strategy meetings and workshops, and contributed to the development of a new classification system for Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. During this time, he and his team gained a lot of knowledge and experience with AV operations; in-house, from inviting speakers and preparing their agenda, to developing presentations and translating materials, and managing the audience response system, switcher, PCs, projection and sound.

He left the company and established im5 interactive, and used the Audience Response System in his new role as a pharmaceutical consultant, conducting strategy and training meetings, as well as developing clinical drug databases, product manuals, digital publications and regulatory processes.

With an increasing involvement in meeting technology, im5 expanded into event and conference production, exhibitions, global satellite broadcasts, 3D-technologies, power management and networking.

Over the last 3 years, im5 has produced a number of video conferences, using the Zoom, Teams, and Webex platforms, and has been training staff and clients with the Zoom platform.

Events have ranged from 7 to 5,150 participants, with multiple cameras, performances and multiple languages.
